Bruce Markusen is an award-winning freelance author who writes in both the genres of the paranormal and the sports world. In 2004, he authored Haunted House of the Vampire, a fictional book in the genre of young adult horror. He has also written five books on baseball, including his most recent published effort, Tales From The Mets Dugout, which was released in the spring of 2005.
In addition to his writing efforts, Markusen also serves as an advisor and consultant to museums that feature exhibits about the paranormal and about the sporting life. A ten-year veteran of the research, public relations, and programming departments at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY, Markusen has extensive experience in research, exhibit scriptwriting, and narration.
